Abstract
The article addresses misconceptions about paraplanning as a career. Topics discussed include origin of paraplanning role, reason the misconception that businesses only take on paraplanners because their financial planners and advisers are incapable of formulating their advice or writing reports is foolish, and growth in paraplanner role.
