Abstract
In this article the author discusses the devastating intergenerational trauma experienced by families of prisoners of war, including her own. The author states that in the book "Generation of Postmemory," Marianne Hirsch addresses the experience of Holocaust families, but her observations could also be applied to the families of many traumatised men.
