Abstract
The article describes a case of spinal dural arteriovenous fistula (SDAVF), a rare frequently misdiagnosed spinal vascular malformation, that involves an atypical clinical presentation. Topics discussed include the most common location of fistula, factor that makes the diagnosis of SDAVFs challenging, and temporal correlation between stabilization of motor symptoms and an improvement in sensory symptoms with endovascular treatment of SDAVF.
