Abstract
In the article, the authors discuss the 724 national comprehensive stroke strategy developed by Iran's National Scientific Workgroup for the diagnosis and treatment of acute stroke. The disease is among the main causes of disability and mortality among Iranian adults. The strategy was developed with the support by the Ministry of Health and the Iranian Stroke Association.
