Abstract
In the article, the author discusses his efforts to challenge the issues of racism and sexism. Topics include his conduct of anti-racism and anti-sexism workshops while working as counselor for men who abuse their female partners and his inspiration from African American women writers and African American communities opposing domestic violence.
