Abstract
In the current head and neck practice, there are a number of surgical options one could consider to access tumours of the oropharynx. The utilization of a box genial osteotomy to access oropharyngeal tumours represents a good option for the head and neck surgeon and obviates some of the problems associated with other mandibular access techniques.
