Abstract
Non-adherence and suboptimal inhaler technique are major problems in patients with obstructive lung disease. Dutch-speaking adult patients with self-reported chronic asthma or Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) on registered inhaler therapy were included. Our study could not detect significant changes in disease control for COPD patients, which is in accordance with the pharmaceutical care intervention for COPD patients (PHARMACOP) study [[8]].
