Abstract
The article discusses that decadently built, four-story structures with up to 700 rooms and carefully engineered roads expanded out from Chaco Canyon in New Mexico. It mentions that using computer modeling and Geographic Information System (GIS) technologies, the Great Houses of Chaco were geometrically oriented to the cycles of the sun and moon; and also mentions that , buildings corresponded to the Chacoans astronomical observations with their symmetric patterning.
