Abstract
The article offers information on a study related to exercise tolerance with catheter ablation. It mentions that achieving sustained sinus rhythm following catheter ablation among patients with persistent atrial fibrillation (AF) results in clinically relevant improvements in peak oxygen uptake; and also mentions need for understanding on the effects of AF ablation on hemodynamics and atrial function.
