Abstract
The article focuses on the effect of menstrual cycle and premenstrual syndrome (PMS) on the voice. It discusses how it can cause difficulty in singing high notes, huskiness and decreased volume, vocal stress risk increases in the premenstrual period, the influence of taking oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) during menstrual cycle.
