Distant resonance of Brennan Healing Science® practitioners to different states: A contribution to fundamental research.

Abstract
Brennan Healing Science® (BHS) pays special attention to "resonance" of emotional or mental states in the therapist-client relationship. Apart from awareness of a client's status in a face-to-face situation, some BHS practitioners also claim to be able to resonate with clients they do not perceive with the senses of sight, hearing and touch. Two groups of BHS practitioners were situated in two different adjoining rooms. Group A brought themselves into either of two states "D" or "H," group B tried to determine which state group A was presenting. Five experiments with 10 repetitions each were performed. In the experiments, clear, although not statistically significant (p > 0.05) trends were found: With regard to the state of the "sending" participants, the "receiving" participants assessed more often (+15 percent points) correctly than incorrectly.
