Abstract
The article focuses on a study which aims to examine the impact of the high latitude marine heat wave on Alaska in 2016. Topics being presented include observed marine warmth, impacts on the marine ecosystem, and an attribution analysis using CMIP5 models, which suggest human-induced climate change has greatly increased the risk of such anomalies.
