Abstract
The article discusses the impact that the volcanic eruption known as Guagua Pichincha Volcano, Ecuador circa 90 A.D. had on forcing the Jame-Coaque culture people from their homes in the Jama Valley, Ecuador, including in regard to their culture's continued survival through the 15th century. An overview of ceramics associated with the Jama Coaque culture is provided.
