Abstract
The article discusses the results of archaeological research in Bronze Age tombs at the ancient city of Megiddo in Israel. Topics include the implications of the research regarding the involvement of Canaanite peoples in trade, the finding that chemical components of vanilla were present at the site, and the discovery of bodies of men who apparently had leprosy.
