Abstract
The article discusses a study that develops a short-item questionnaire to examine the dietary quality of mothers and their young children in the remote Indigenous community setting for the Pregnancy and Adverse Neonatal Diabetes Outcomes in Remote Australia longitudinal birth cohort study. Study highlights include preliminary testing and test-retest methods, the use of Mediterranean Diet Adherence Score, and the response of Indigenous mothers to the clarity of the items.
