Abstract
The article discusses the early 19th century palace Sans-Souci and Citadel fort established in Milot, northern Haiti by former general Henry Christophe, or King Henry I, including in regard to Christophe's establishing a kingdom in northern Haiti. An overview of the pottery found near the ruins of Sans-Souci is provided.
