Abstract
The article offers information on a universal, school-based, peer-to-peer program in Utah known as Hope Squad, which aims to address the factors related to suicide in adolescents. Topics mentioned include education of parents about the role of the Hope Squad and the significance of suicide prevention in the schools, coordination of annual schoolwide event by members called Hope Week, and research and evaluation of the Hope Squad model.
