Abstract
The article looks at the financial challenge faced by the Newseum, a museum of news media located in Washington, D.C., reflecting the distress experienced by journalism in the internet age. It discusses the deficits incurred by the Newseum since it opened in Washington, D.C. in 2008 as well as highlights its dependence on funding from the Freedom Forum, the foundation that established the museum. A brief historical overview of the museum is given.
