Abstract
The energy dependence of the cross sections for the processes ee → πππ, KK, ηππ, ωπ, and KKππ is studied near the production threshold for a nucleon-antinucleon pair. It is shown that, within the measurement errors, the cross sections in question behave smoothly in this energy region. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
