Abstract
The article focuses on exploring ways to support children undergoing healthcare experiences from neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS). Topics mentioned include an increase in incidence of NAS in the U.S. from 2007 to 2017, involvement of mothers of infants with NAS in the child's care, and concerns about the delivery of communication and feeling judged.
