Abstract
An editorial is presented, in which the author discusses standardization improve care or stifle innovation. It discusses use as a bridge to transplant through ventricular assist device. It discusses donor-specific complement-dependent cytotoxicity cross-match. It also evaluates short-and medium-term effects of anti-HLA sensitization in pediatric heart transplant recipients.
