Abstract
The article explores the use of podcasts and kidcasts by libraries in the U.S. It states that the number of podcasts targeting children has been increasing while podcasts are being used by libraries including Illinois-based Oak Park Public Library. Topics include the benefits of using podcasts to help children succeed in school, ways for libraries to incorporate podcasts for children, and methods to identify the right kidcasts and recommend them to parents and caregivers.
