Abstract
The article discusses the territorial dispute between Morocco and the people of Western Sahara, including Sahrawis' attitude towards Morocco and the United Nations' (UN's) role in peacekeeping in the Western Sahara following the 1975-1991 Western Sahara Conflict. An overview of the Western Sahara nationalist movement the Polisario Front's tensions with Morocco is provided.
