In the article, the authors discuss the various lessons that can be learned from the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria in assisting the vulnerable populations worldwide. Also cited are the hindrances in the aim to achieve the sustainable development goals under the fund due to failure to assist the vulnerable and excluded populations, the new strategy crafted by the fund for 2017-2022 to achieve its goals, and the fund's works in such countries as Botswana as examples.
