Abstract
The article presents a prospective study of bicycling and risk of coronary heart disease (CHD) in Danish men and women. It says that bicycling for transportation and recreation is regarded an essential strategy for prevention of CHD in several populations. It adds that it is a low-impact kind of physical activity that can be used for exercise purposes or included in everyday living without needing allocation of time to more structured exercise.
