Abstract
The article looks at the High-Risk Potential Victims' DNA Database (HRDNA) program and its potential in detection of suspicious commercial drivers as part of the U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (ViCAP). Topics discussed include the rise in serial killings of street sex workers in the U.S. by suspects disguised as long-haul truck drivers, history of the HRDNA pilot program, and scenarios showing advantages of the program.
