Abstract
The article focuses on an organist and composer, who known especially for his choral works, song cycles and keyboard improvisations, David Bednall, who currently working as a organist at Bristol University, and conducts the University Singers. His love of late-romantic and 20th music is very apparent, as is his interest in emotive and evocative effects to communicate the text fully to listeners. It also mentions his major inspirations including Richard Strauss, Puccini, and Vaughan Williams.
