Abstract
The article focuses on a study conducted by the authors related to the use of cognitive tests Mini-Cog and 6-CIT for screening of dementia in Pakistan. Topics discussed include the Mini-Cog test for cognition and 6-CIT for testing memory, orientation and attention; 6-CIT test more effective in detecting dementia than the Mini-Cog test and lack of a cognitive test which takes socio-cultural factors into consideration in the country.
