Abstract
The article focuses on enhancing support for Disease Data Management System (DDMS) which is designed to meet data management and decision-support needs of vector-borne disease control programs. Topics discussed include advantages and disadvantages of DDMS, the implementation of DDMS in seven countries in Africa and Asia, and user feedback for DDMS. The challenges for DDMS in consideration to information systems are also discussed.
