Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 66-year-old patient who developed chronic obstructive pulmonary disease due to cigarette smoking. He undergone surgery due to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease and was discharged. A dilated left ventricle with inferobasal and basal medium segment dyskinesia was seen during transthoracic echocardiography after 2 weeks of surgery. The patient had a dehiscence of mitral valve annuloplasty ring.
