Abstract
The article focuses on the Hardison v. Board of Education of the Oneonta City School District concerning alternative educational placement and tuition reimbursement under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). A decision by the State Review Officer (SRO) which denied an emotionally disabled child's parents reimbursement for her private schooling costs under IDEA was reversed by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
