Abstract
The article offers information a community based system developed by the Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium called Local Environmental Observer (LEO) Network that studies impact of environment on public health. Topics discussed include surveillance systems for monitoring climatic changes, participants of LEO and traditional ecological knowledge.
