Abstract
The article presents a comment on F. Li and colleagues' study "Follow-up formula consumption in 3- to 4-year-olds and respiratory infections: an RCT," which found that children consuming enriched follow-up formula had less episodes and shorter duration of acute respiratory infection (ARI). Topics discussed include the study's strength with its randomised controlled trial design, double-blinded interventions and computer-generated randomisation as well as its limitations.
