Abstract
The article informs about the adoption of euro currency by Greece and its impact on the economy. Although, the move was anticipated to relieve the economy from the huge burden of debt and recover it, it indeed turned into a big disappointment. The article also mentions, if Greece now returns to its erstwhile currency drachma, its value would rise and Greek goods and services would become cheap.
