Abstract
The article focuses on the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), and organization which aim to enhance public health through cardiovascular related researches. Topics include its goal to maintain its investigator-initiated fundamental research science, the significant of NHLBI-supported researches on the quality of life of the community, and the aspects of its Strategic Visioning process which allows a collaboration for the NHLBI on research and workforce needs.
