Abstract
The article discusses the guidelines and recommendations from Indian Chest Society (ICS) and National College of Chest Physicians (NCCP) for the management and diagnosis of hospital-acquired pneumonia (HAP) and community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) in adults. Among the recommendations that were mentioned include the role of chest radiograph in diagnosing CAP, importance of computed tomography (CT) in the diagnosis of CAP, and the required general investigations in CAP patients.
