Abstract
This poster outlines the development of a computer workstation for written communication, telecommunications (including telephony), professional drawing and imaging, and time management. The client, a professional artist, controls the system entirely by voice. He can produce high-quality graphics, manage voice, data and FAX calls, organize telephone numbers and appointments, and produce business and personal correspondence. Examples of his work and an outline of the system will be presented. In addition, customized and commercial options for developing such systems are discussed, and a variety of possible accessing solutions (voice recognition, scanning, low vision options) requiring minimal customization are presented.
