Abstract
This paper focuses on one of the major influential factors in a Biracial child's identity development process - parental communication. The Parental Racial Socialization Communication Model (PRSC) is proposed. Parents racial views influence two dimensions that construct a parent's communication style. Those two dimensions are the approach technique and valence of racial socialization.
