Abstract
The authors show positive semi-definiteness of matrices generated by differences deduced from majorization-type results and obtain Lyapunov's and Dresher's inequalities for these differences. The statements of the results are too complicated to state here. Some related results in the discrete and indiscrete cases and some new means of Cauchy type are given [see M. Anwar\ and J. E.
