Abstract
The authors consider the problem of stabilization for the subspace $G=\{x\colon Hx=0\}$, $x\in E_n$, of the linear system of $n$ differential equations with $r$ control functions $dx/dt=Ax+Bu$, where $A(n\times n)$ and $B(n\times r)$ are constant real matrices. \par They obtain necessary and sufficient conditions for stability with respect to a subspace. They construct an algorithm that enables them to check the possibility of stabilization and, if the stabilization is possible, to find the stabilizing control. \par \{Part I has been reviewed [MR0528785 (58 \#26382)].\}
