Abstract
Summary: ``A new recovery technique based on discretization correctedparticle strength exchange (DC PSE) operators is developed in thispaper. DC PSE is an established collocation method that can be used tocompute derivatives directly at nodal points, instead of by projectionfrom Gauss points as is done in many finite element-based recoverytechniques. The proposed recovery technique is truly meshless and doesnot require patches of elements to be defined, which makes it generallyapplicable to point clouds and arbitrary element topologies. Numericalexamples show that the proposed method is accurate and robust.''
