Abstract
Consider a $p\times g$ matrix $Z(s)$ whose elements are rational functions of $s$ such that $\lim_{s\rightarrow 0}Z(s)=0$. The author proposes a method to factor $Z(s)$ in the form $C(sI-A)^{-1}B=Z(s)$. Here $A,B,C,D$ are of dimensions $n\times n$, $n\times g$, $p\times n$ and $p\times g$, respectively.
