Abstract
The authors study a problem about the cohomology of a space defined by the suspension of a homography $\gamma$ on the real projective line $\Bbb{RP}^1$. The problem can be reduced to solving an equation $f-f\circ\gamma = g$ for a given $g$ in the space $C^{\infty}(\Bbb{RP}^1)$. Solving this equation is the main new result in the paper.
