Abstract
Let $H$ be a weak Hopf algebra with bijective antipode. In this paper, bicovariant differential calculi on $H$ are characterized by Woronowicz's fundamental method. \par The authors verify that there exists a 1-to-1 correspondence between bicovariant differential calculi and some special right ideals of $H$. It constitutes a generalization of the well-known Woronowicz theorem about bicovariant differential calculi on quantum groups.
