Abstract
The article reports the leisure cinema collection of the Archbishop Alter Library of the College of Mount Saint Joseph in Cincinnati, Ohio. The College of Mount Saint Joseph is a small liberal arts college located in the suburbs area of Cincinnati. Library officials identified the need to provide a small recreational video collection to students since the location of the campus is far from a shopping center, video store and public library. The video collection, which opened in the summer of 2002 enables the college to meet the recreational needs of the students especially those who live on the campus dorms. The movie collection also aids in the marketing effort of the library and its services.
