Abstract
The paper reports a study of the users of Government College of Engineering and Leather Technology (GCELT) Library in Kolkata. We found out the frequency of use of the library, time spent in the library, purpose of use, adequacy of resources, formats preferred, currency of information and other factors using questionnaires and interviews. This study provides an overview of the information-seeking behaviour of users. Some suggestions and recommendations are made to help make the library services more user-centric. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
