Abstract
The article discusses various means of communication by academic scholars and their use by university and college students. The author states that students as well as faculty make use of means of scholarly communication. The author highlights several activities available to students, including students' use of academic journal literature, students as authors of academic literature, students as editors of scholarly literature, and student involvement in the process of a faculty member's scholarly activities.
