Abstract
The article discusses the Long Beach Network for School Improvement, which focuses on the principles of continuous improvement, equity-centered leadership, and teacher voice in middle schools in Long Beach, California. The article also discusses the importance of relationship-building, reflection, and risk-taking in improving instruction and student outcomes for Black and Latinx multilingual learners who experience the impact of poverty.
