Abstract
The article reports on the poor design of Phase 2 children's centers in Great Britain. The Sure Start children's centers program was criticized by the Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (CABE). Some of the problems seen with the design were no outdoor space, locks and buzzers on doors and kitchen with heavy fire door.
