Abstract
The article presents a study conducted at the Edward R. Johnstone Training and Research Center in New Jersey which focused on the students' popularity ratings of institutional work supervisors. Fifty-five work supervisors were chosen for the study and asked to complete a 31-item questionnaire in order to assess his understanding of mental retardation. Results of the study showed no significant relationships between the popularity of supervisors as rated by retarded adolescent trainees.
